Dance Fusion
This is a two class sequence, which provides beginning and more experienced Latin dancers to improve their dancing, and diversify their skill set. The first hour is geared toward preparing the body for the physical exertion of dance. Strengthening, toning, and stretching are emphasized in this dance exercise class. The second class focuses more directly on development of dance skills. Students are welcome to take one or both of the classes. They do not have to be taken together.
1st Class (1:00 - 2:00) Dance Fusion - Core and Back workout
For all dancers, this class consists of deep warm-up exercises combined from modern dance techniques and Latin drills. The exercises target building strength and lengthening your muscles to improve dynamic alignment. Bring your yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable dancewear. Be ready to break a sweat!
2nd Class (2:00 - 3:00) Bolero (Beginning/Intermediate)
This class will cover theatrical and dramatic dance in American style rhythm. Learn steps and develop them into an open choreography. This dance will help couples be more connected and expressive in the Bolero style of dance.
